About Melanie

Life coach, writer, blogger, speaker, mom, wife, daughter, friend, lover of life and all it’s glory! I am not your typical life coach. I was born to do this, and I want to help you help yourself! I take into account that all people are different, and I tailor my coaching specifically for each client. I won’t have an outline to follow, and a script to use with you because I realize what works for one individual may not work for everyone.  I use my gut, my knowledge and skills, and my own experiences to help you discover your own path. I’m not big on hand holding because I’d rather teach you to be accountable for yourself. You are enough!

I have always been the friend who everyone comes to, to talk, to ask for advice, to feel loved and heard, and understood. I have always been passionate about helping others, and in the summer of 2000, after struggling with my own demons, I began my own mission to be the best person I can be…to live a happy life, and understand what makes me tick. I have done a tremendous amount of work on myself over the years and have learned a ton. I am a Certified Martha Beck Life Coach (Martha Beck is a best selling author, and described by Oprah as “one of the smartest women I know”).  I am also certified through The Life Coach and Weight Coach School. I admit I am not perfect…I own my flaws, and I am aware that we are all works in progress. I want to help you become the best that you can be.

I love people, and I believe we are all in this together…living life and going through all the ups and downs. We all have them. No one’s life is perfect, no matter how they present themselves.

I can help you with love and relationships (dating, marriage, family, friends, coworkers/boss, etc.), parenting, body image, weight loss or an unhealthy relationship with food, work/life balance, money, feeling stuck or unhappy for unknown reasons, or whatever may be on your mind. I am here to help you realize THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO LIFE!!!
